I have worked in fitness ever since I graduated from York St John in 2006, with a degree in sports studies and physical education. After some time spent working as a mentor with young carers and playing cricket in Australia, I started working with adults with learning disabilities assisting them in gym, swimming, and other sports of interest. I currently continue to balance my work in this area alongside my personal training and class instruction.
Continuing my career development within the fitness industry, I qualified with YMCA Fit as a Level 2 Fitness/Gym Instructor in 2014, then as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in 2015. My professional development with YMCA Fit continued when I became a qualified Boot Camp Leader, and I currently lead Group Fitness Classes at 2 venues.
