Fitness Classes & Personal Training in North Yorkshire
Welcome to Set the Tone Fitness. We are based in North Yorkshire and serving Ripon and surrounding villages as well as Harrogate, Knaresborough, and Thirsk.
Established in 2015, Set the Tone Fitness offers 1-1 and Small Group Personal Training, and Group Exercise Classes in the form of Circuits Classes and Command Format (‘Boot Camp’) exercise. Our classes currently run in Ripon, Mickley, Knaresborough, and Thirsk, and are appropriate for a wide-range of abilities and fitness levels.
Our classes are known for being varied and fun, two crucial factors in any workout. Watch this space for additional classes in the future. If Personal Training is more your thing, we offer 1-1 work and Small Group Training for a variety of fitness goals.
I had been apprehensive about joining the circuit class as I don't class myself as being very fit and often feel embarrassed working out with other people, but, Stu made me feel really welcome. He has a very positive style of instruction and treats you as an individual so that each person is pushed to their own limit rather than feeling you are being compared to everyone else. The sessions are different each week and always challenging, believe it or not, I smile throughout the class and leave on a real high. I am no longer apprehensive about group fitness, I actually look forward to it!
Stuart Clark at Set The Tone Fitness is an inspiration, brilliant varied classes which I thoroughly enjoy. Stuart is extremely encouraging and supportive, and brilliant at showing me how to complete the exercises. Also a friendly welcoming atmosphere at his classes too! I would definitely recommend Stuarts classes for anyone wishing to get fit
